2. What data we process
Enquiry: name, e-mail, phone, preferred dates and the content of your message. Booking and stay: data needed to conclude and perform the contract and to issue an invoice — name, address, contact details, dates, number of guests, payment details. Guest registration: identity document data (name, date of birth, nationality, document type and number, address, dates of arrival and departure), which we are required by law to enter in the guest register and report. Website visit: server logs (IP address, time of access, browser type).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering enquiries and preparing offers — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Booking, stay and invoicing — performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations, in particular tax and accounting rules (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Guest registration and tourist tax — statutory obligation under Slovenian residence registration and hospitality legislation; data is reported through the eTurizem system (AJPES), from where it is available to the police and statistical authorities (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Website security and prevention of misuse — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Optional cookies and any offers we send you — only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
Providing data for the booking and guest registration is a condition of the stay; without it we cannot perform the contract or would breach a statutory obligation.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only as necessary: with AJPES (eTurizem) and through it with the police and the Statistical Office for guest registration; with the booking system provider used for the reservation; with accommodation portals if the booking came through them; and with our accountant and website and e-mail hosting provider as processors. We do not transfer data to third countries unless required by a tool for which you have given consent.
5. How long we keep data
- Enquiries without a booking: up to 12 months after the last contact.
- Bookings and related correspondence: 5 years after the end of the stay (limitation periods).
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by tax law.
- Guest register and tourist tax records: for the periods set by guest registration legislation.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Data processed on the basis of consent: until withdrawal.
6. Cookies
The website uses necessary cookies for its operation and to remember your cookie choice. Optional cookies are loaded only with your consent. Details are in the cookie policy.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Send your request to primoz.razinger@gmail.com; we reply within one month at the latest. We cannot erase data we are required to keep by law (invoices, guest register).
